When Debbie and I got married we were living in the Phila. suburbs. We got a fresh start in Cherry Hill and re- discovered an old favorite whenever we wentthrough Jersey.. Ponzios.

We told our friends that we moved over the bridge just to be close to Ponzios. Not much later we found out that a baby was on the way. What better place than Ponzios to go with our book of 10,000 baby names and peruse the list over their coffee.

We were there the night before her scheduled C section and wrote our final choice of names on a Ponzios place mat. There we were in the preparation room still going over the final choices. We kiddingly said the name Ponzio could work. Alas, Randall won out!! From that day on, our server Elsa [now a manager] knew Randy and my ability to hold and feed him with him cradled in my arm while still being able to cut and butter my bagel on mornings I was going solo.

Great memories. Incidentally, Randy is now 19
